Is it really free?
Yes. The whole 30-day challenge — all 65 stories, all quizzes, the certificate — is free. Higher levels will be a paid subscription later, and you will see everything they contain before paying.
I’ve never learned any Chinese. Can I start?
The challenge is built for absolute beginners. Day 1 assumes nothing — you read and understand your first real Chinese in it.
What if I miss a day?
Nothing breaks. Your stamps never expire and your progress never resets. Pick up where you left off — 30 days is a guide, not a deadline.
What happens after Day 30?
You’ll be reading — not memorizing. Next comes Character Sense, the 119 characters that unlock thousands of words ahead, and the HSK 3–4 word cards.
